Advice for your HUB24 account.

If an adviser opened this years ago and you haven’t heard from them, or you’re looking at a statement with charges you don’t recognise, you’re not alone. HUB24 is a platform advisers use for super, pension and ordinary investment accounts. We’ll start with the name on the front of the statement. The first chat is free, and you’ll know any fees before you decide anything.

What is HUB24, and how does the account work?

The platform runs the account and reports on it. Personal advice sits in a different relationship.

Three HUB24 products: Super, Invest and SMSF Access sit under the same brand HUB24 Super Trustee: HTFS Nominees HUB24 Invest Not superannuation SMSF Access Self-managed funds Same brand. Three different arrangements.

HUB24 administers the account and reports on it. The personal recommendations — what to hold, when to retire, how much to draw — come from a financial adviser, not from the platform itself.

Within it, HUB24 Super is the superannuation and retirement product, issued by HTFS Nominees Pty Limited as trustee. HUB24 describes it as designed to support advice across accumulation and retirement, and in May 2026 it added a lifetime super account inside HUB24 Super. HUB24 Invest holds non‑super investments, and HUB24 SMSF Access serves self‑managed funds. HUB24 Custodial Services Ltd is the promoter of the super fund and the operator of HUB24 Invest. HUB24 Limited is an ASX‑listed company.

None of this is a criticism of HUB24, and it isn’t a reason to leave. It’s a description of a gap that opens when an advice relationship ends but the account stays put.

Where are you up to?

Pick the one that feels closest. You can change it later.

If you’re between stages, start with either. Switching the selection later doesn’t change anything on your HUB24 account.

The last few working years

This is the stretch where the option you’re in, any insurance still being deducted, and any adviser fee on the account start to matter more than they did at 40.

Unused concessional room is the leftover of this year’s — and earlier years’ — before-tax contribution cap that you haven’t used. It shows on your ATO super information, not on a HUB24 brochure. Time that alongside the last years of employer contributions rather than treating them as two separate errands.

At the decision point

Whether you can stop working depends on what you intend to spend, what else you own and how long the money has to last. A balance on its own doesn’t answer it.

HUB24 Super can hold an accumulation account and, later, a pension account funded from that super. Once a pension starts, the law and the product rules decide what can be added and how payments come out. Confirm the product name on the statement before treating those as one pot.

The payment amount, investment mix and order of withdrawals can usually be reviewed while an income account is running. Settings that suited the first year of retirement often don’t suit the tenth.

Compare the yearly payment with planned spending, review the Age Pension when assets change, and check the beneficiary nomination. Super doesn't automatically follow your will — a valid binding or reversionary nomination usually controls who's paid, and nominating your legal personal representative is how you route it into the estate.

How do HUB24 adviser fees on my account work?

The platform fee and the adviser fee are two different lines. One can stop without the other moving.

Find the adviser line
Your statement and transaction history in InvestorHUB should show any advice fee. You can ask HUB24 to confirm the amount, who receives it and the consent form it sits on. Written consent required yearly
Check what the consent actually covers
The agreement should explain what the fee pays for — review meetings, written advice, updates. You can compare that list with the service you actually receive.
Confirm who the current adviser is
Advice practices and licensees change. HUB24 can tell you who is recorded against the account now, which is useful if you haven’t heard from anyone in years.
Stopping the fee leaves the account where it is
Ending an ongoing advice arrangement doesn’t roll the money out and doesn’t close the account. You can take each decision on its own. Two separate decisions
Choose the level of help you want
You might want help with one decision, or a relationship that continues. We explain the service options and what they cost before any paid work begins.

What are HUB24 fees?

Administration, investment, insurance and advice each pay for a different thing.

Think of the statement as four taps on the same tank. The administration fee pays HUB24 to run the account. The investment fee pays whoever manages what you hold. Insurance premiums, if any, pay for cover. An adviser fee, if one is live, pays an adviser for personal advice about this account.

HUB24 Super’s PDS also names a cash management fee on the cash sitting in the account, and an expense recovery fee. Choice, Core and Discover are different menus with different running costs. We don’t publish the rates. Your statement and the current disclosure documents are the ones that apply to you.

If you’re not sure it still stacks up

A comparison is a way of seeing where the account stands. It isn’t a decision to leave.

If you’re happy with the account, there’s often no reason to move — and we’ll say so. Guideway specialises in industry, government and corporate super funds, and we can review a platform arrangement like HUB24 as well.

If you’re not sure it still stacks up, we can benchmark it against five leading comparable funds so you know exactly where it stands. If it holds up, you’ll know you’re fine. If it doesn’t, we can help you weigh a move and handle it properly — insurance, timing and tax included.

Any recommendation should include the costs and consequences of making a change. We explain those before recommending one.

What members ask us

What is HUB24?

HUB24 is a platform — an administration service that gives you one login and one set of reports across separate products: HUB24 Super (which contains super and pension accounts) and HUB24 Invest (an ordinary investment service). Financial advisers use it for their clients. Think of it as the plumbing behind the account, not the advice itself. HUB24 Super is the superannuation and retirement product, issued by HTFS Nominees Pty Limited as trustee. HUB24 Invest holds money that isn’t super. HUB24 SMSF Access serves self-managed funds. HUB24 Limited is listed on the ASX under the code HUB. (From HUB24’s published material and Super Fund Lookup, checked 16 August 2026.)

What are HUB24 fees?

HUB24 doesn’t publish a single fee that applies to every account. What you pay depends on the product you hold, the investment menu (Choice, Core or Discover), the assets inside the account, and any advice fee you have agreed to. HUB24’s own defined-fees page, checked 16 August 2026, splits the charges this way: an administration fee relates to running the fund; an investment fee relates to investing the fund’s assets; and an advice fee relates directly to costs incurred because financial product advice was provided to a member. On top of those, HUB24 Super’s PDS also names a cash management fee on the cash account and an expense recovery fee. The numbers that apply to you’re on your annual statement, your fee-consent paperwork and the current disclosure documents for your product and its underlying investments — we don’t publish HUB24’s rate card here. Find them in InvestorHUB, or ask HUB24 on 1300 508 797.

What is the HUB24 Super Fund USI?

The Unique Superannuation Identifier (USI) for HUB24 Super Fund is 60910190523001. The fund ABN is 60 910 190 523. Think of the USI as the address your employer or another fund uses so a contribution or rollover lands in the right product. A wrong number is the usual reason money sits in limbo for weeks. Super Fund Lookup, the ATO’s official register, lists that USI as current from 1 July 2013, with the fund recorded as an APRA regulated public offer fund (Super Fund Lookup record, checked 16 August 2026). Two older ClearView product USIs still sit under the same fund ABN — ClearView ClearChoice Super (60910190523002) and ClearView LifeSolutions Super Rollover (NRM0043AU) — both with contribution restrictions, so contact the fund before using those. HUB24’s 19 March 2026 Product Update Notice writes the same Super USI as 60 910 190 523 001. Equity Trustees, the trustee group, states that ClearView Retirement Plan members were successor-fund transferred into HUB24 Super Fund effective 29 November 2024 and 1 March 2025.

Do I need an adviser for HUB24?

HUB24 is built to be used with a financial adviser. The HUB24 Invest application form dated 14 December 2024 says instructions to buy, sell or otherwise deal with investments must be given by your adviser and can’t be sent in by you directly — wholesale investors excepted. The Super and Pension application booklet dated 29 April 2024 is completed and signed with your adviser. HUB24’s Non-Custodial Service is only available to clients who have a financial adviser. That is how the platform is designed: the adviser sends instructions through AdviserHUB, and you can see the account on InvestorHUB. Some HUB24 services may be available without an adviser; HUB24 can confirm the rule for the account you actually hold. Appointing a different adviser, or asking for an ongoing advice fee to stop, is a separate decision from whether the account itself can stay open.

How do HUB24 adviser fees on my account work?

An advice fee on a HUB24 account is a payment to an adviser for personal advice about that account, not a fee HUB24 keeps for running the platform. It only comes out if you have consented to it. HUB24 runs an Advice Fee Consent process for this, and ASIC’s Moneysmart sets the general rule: you must give written consent each year for an ongoing advice fee to continue, and you can end the arrangement at any time. Some older accounts can carry a legacy advice implementation fee from earlier application forms — if one applies to you, it shows on your statement and consent paperwork rather than the current PDS. Your annual statement and transaction list in InvestorHUB should show any adviser line. You can ask HUB24 to confirm the amount, who receives it and the consent it sits on.

Can I keep my HUB24 account if I no longer have a financial adviser?

It depends on the account you hold. Some HUB24 services require an adviser; others may be available without one. HUB24 can confirm the requirement for your account on 1300 508 797. Two things stay true whichever answer you get. You can appoint a different adviser without moving any money. And you can ask for an ongoing advice fee to stop, which doesn’t by itself roll the balance out.

Can I stop the advice fee without moving my money?

Yes. Ending an ongoing advice arrangement is a separate decision from moving or closing the account. ASIC’s Moneysmart says you can end an ongoing fee arrangement at any time, and written consent is required each year for the fee to continue. Ask HUB24 to remove the deduction and confirm it has stopped. Ending the fee doesn't itself move your money — though if your adviser link ends entirely, HUB24 can restrict an unadvised Invest account and the Super trustee can ask you to transfer, so it's worth having a plan for the account too.

What is the difference between HUB24 Invest and HUB24 Super?

One is superannuation and one isn’t — a distinction that changes how the money is taxed, and is one of the things (along with your age and whether an income stream is running) that shapes how Centrelink counts it. HUB24 Super is the superannuation and retirement product, issued by HTFS Nominees Pty Limited as trustee, and the law decides when you can get at it. HUB24 Invest is an ordinary investment account operated by HUB24 Custodial Services Ltd: you keep beneficial ownership with consolidated tax reporting (assets are typically registered to HUB24's custodians on your behalf), and it isn’t locked away behind preservation age. HUB24 SMSF Access serves self-managed funds. (From HUB24’s published material and the 19 March 2026 Product Update Notice, checked 16 August 2026.) If you can’t say which of them you hold, that’s the first thing to establish. The front of your statement will say.

Who owns HUB24?

HUB24 Limited, an Australian company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange under the code HUB. The parts you actually deal with sit underneath it. HUB24 Custodial Services Ltd is the operator of HUB24 Invest and the promoter of the HUB24 Super Fund. HUB24 Super itself is issued by HTFS Nominees Pty Limited as trustee, which is a separate legal role with duties owed to members. Those roles are as published by HUB24 on hub24.com.au and in the 19 March 2026 Product Update Notice, checked 16 August 2026.

Is HUB24 safe?

It depends which risk you mean, and there are three worth separating. The first is whether the structure is licensed and regulated. HUB24 Super is issued by HTFS Nominees Pty Limited, which holds a registrable superannuation entity licence (RSE Licence No. L0003216) as a superannuation trustee, and HUB24 Custodial Services Ltd holds an Australian financial services licence (AFSL 239 122). Super Fund Lookup records the fund as an APRA regulated public offer fund, ABN 60 910 190 523, RSE R1074659 (Super Fund Lookup record, checked 16 August 2026). The second is investment risk, which depends on the assets held through the platform. The third is the advice arrangement: whether an adviser is appointed, what services are included and what fees are being deducted.

Is HUB24 better than Netwealth?

We’re not going to rank them, here or anywhere. Both are large Australian platforms that advisers use, and any answer we gave would be a comparison of products rather than an answer about you. We make no comparison of investment performance between any of the providers on this site. The useful question is narrower. What is coming out of your account each year, what are you getting for it, and does the way it’s set up still suit someone at your stage of life? All three can be answered from your own statement.

How do I log in to HUB24 InvestorHUB?

InvestorHUB is HUB24’s client portal. Go to my.hub24.com.au, or follow the login link on hub24.com.au. That is where you see balances, transactions and statements. Advisers use a separate portal called AdviserHUB. Guideway is a separate advice firm — for a password reset, a form or a balance query, go to hub24.com.au or call HUB24 on 1300 508 797.

Should I stay with HUB24 or switch funds?

Keeping the account is a normal outcome, and we’ll say so when that’s the right call. A comparison against five leading comparable funds is how you see where this one stands — fees, insurance and service included — without assuming you should leave. Insurance, nominations and any adviser-fee arrangement travel with a move, so they belong in that comparison.

How do I check whether my financial adviser is still registered?

Look them up on the Financial Advisers Register, which ASIC publishes on its Moneysmart website at moneysmart.gov.au. It’s a public record of people who provide personal advice on investments, superannuation and life insurance. It shows where an adviser has worked, their qualifications and training, their memberships of professional bodies and what products they can advise on. It’s free to search. HUB24 can confirm any adviser authority or fee attached to the account.

What do you charge?

Your first conversation is free and takes about half an hour. If you decide to go further, your adviser will confirm the fee in writing before any paid work begins. Advice can cover a single decision or continue over time. We’ll explain the available service options and costs before you decide.

We’re not owned by a bank, super fund or insurer.

Our day-to-day work is industry, government and corporate super. A HUB24 platform account sits alongside that work.

The product on the statement first

We start with whether you hold HUB24 Super, HUB24 Invest or SMSF Access, then work from what’s printed in front of you.

The outcome stays yours

That might mean keeping the account, changing a setting, or looking at another option. We don’t arrive with a preferred result.

We’ll say if we can take it

After the first chat, you’ll know whether the work is something we do and what it would cost.

What happens next

Three steps. You can stop after the first one.

1. Book a free half hour
Pick a video, phone or Melbourne time. A recent HUB24 statement helps; if you can’t find it, come anyway.
2. We listen
You tell us what’s on the statement and what’s bothering you. We’ll say honestly if and how we can help.
3. You decide
There’s no obligation. Stop after the first chat if you want, and you’ll know any fees before going ahead.

Ready to talk?

You’ll speak with Nareena Aracas or one of her team. The half hour is free. If we take it further, you’ll see the fee before you agree to anything.
